About Me
The Designer Behind the Slides
I am Ahmad Mohamed Abdelghany, aka. Geno, an Egyptian-made designer, living in the vibrant city of Dubai. My journey into design wasn’t a traditional one. I actually graduated with a degree in Mining and Petroleum Engineering. Yep, rocks and oil. But even back in college, I was already sneaking off into the world of graphic design. What started as a childhood love for writing and illustrating stories ended up pulling me in deeper than I ever expected. The big moment came when I landed my first paycheck as a designer. That’s when it hit me—“Wow, THIS is what I’m meant to do!” From then on, there was no looking back. I’d found my passion, and I was all in.Over the last seven years, I’ve been sharpening my design skills. I started as a logo and brand identity designer, then expanded into creating social media advertisements. These early experiences gave me a solid foundation, but it wasn’t until clients started requesting company profiles and presentations that I discovered my real passion.Presentations felt different, almost like creating little movies on a budget. They let me tell a story slide by slide, using visuals to make ideas pop. I got hooked on the process, and it didn’t take long before I made the leap to focus exclusively on presentation design. Pitch decks, corporate presentations, even full-on documents—this became my sweet spot, where storytelling meets design.Leaving engineering for design was hands-down the best decision I’ve ever made. Every project I work on reminds me why I chose this path. I get to do what I love while helping people share their stories in a way that’s clear, compelling, and memorable. There’s nothing like seeing a slide I’ve designed inspire or persuade—it’s the best feeling in the world. So that’s me: a storyteller at heart, a designer by trade, and someone who’s obsessed with creating presentations that make an impact. Let’s collaborate and bring your ideas to life, one unforgettable slide at a time.

My background in pitch decks is shaped by three key factors:
- Real-world experience creating decks that work in the toughest markets.
- Guidance and mentorship from experts I’ve had the privilege to work with.
- Continuous learning through courses in marketing and business strategy.
Add in my love for storytelling and design, and you get pitch decks that stand out and make an impact.
All I need is your initial ideas and any existing content in any format—Word files, PDFs, or even sketches.
If you’re not sure where to start, that’s fine too. Part of my job is to simplify the process and help you figure out what works best.
PowerPoint is my trusty sidekick—versatile and ideal for most layouts.
For stunning graphics, I rely on Photoshop and Illustrator.
I’m also fluent in Keynote, Google Slides, Figma, Canva, and InDesign.
Whatever platform you need, I’ve got the skills to make it happen.
I get it, PowerPoint has a bad reputation, but it’s all about the user, not the tool.
I used to question it too earlier in my career until I realized just how powerful PowerPoint can be.
Sure, it has its limitations—it can’t edit images or create complex shapes—but that’s what Photoshop and Illustrator are for.
But the final product always lands in PowerPoint format, and here’s why:
- It’s easy for clients to edit later.
- It offers cool animations that boost storytelling.
- It’s perfect for creating long documents without compromising layout.
- It works smoothly across devices and platforms.
- It supports multimedia like videos, sound, buttons, and more, adding an extra layer to designs.
I sign an NDA before starting any project, ensuring all details remain confidential.
I follow a two-milestone review system to ensure satisfaction:
- First, you’ll review the draft and request unlimited edits to refine the direction.
- Then, after final delivery, you get two rounds of revisions for further adjustments.
Refunds aren’t available due to the nature of custom design work.
To prevent dissatisfaction, I offer unlimited revisions at the draft stage.
This ensures the final deck perfectly aligns with your vision.
I don’t offer training sessions, but my pitch decks are user-friendly, designed to guide you through presenting your story confidently.
I work solo, acting as a one-person agency.
I value personal connections and ensure every project gets my full focus.
It’s all about providing a hands-on, personalized experience.
Yes, I can handle tight deadlines with ease.
A 25% rush fee ensures prioritization and covers extra hours.
My focus stays on the essentials, ensuring impact and precision.
Your project will get the attention it deserves, no matter the timeline.
Yes, I’m open for new challenges, but there are a few key things I value:
- Flexibility: Onsite with opportunities for remote or hybrid options and adaptable working hours.
- Goal-Based Work: Delivering results matters more than tracking hours.
- Competitive Salary: A salary that recognizes expertise and commitment.
- Growth Opportunities: Opportunities for advancement in roles and financial growth.
The course is currently in progress, and I’m pouring every bit of my secret sauce into it.
It’s not just about tools but also the techniques that set industry experts apart.
The expected launch date is by the end of July 2025, and I can’t wait to share it with you!
